About.

After successful careers in the foundry industry, brothers Rob and Chris Robbins decided to utilize their vast knowledge of the industry and build Performance from the ground up in 2005.  At the time, Performance was built to fill a void in the casting market for a high quality centrifugal foundry specializing in heat resistant castings. Once operating, the progression into static/sand castings was a natural fit and the foundry underwent  a major expansion in 2009 to accomodate the expanding product lines.  Today, Performance is one of the leaders in centrifugal and sand casting products in a large variety of steel, stainless steel, heat resistant and corrosion resistant alloys.

Company Timeline

2005 - Began operating a single centrifugal casting machine in a 3,000 square              foot building in Waupaca, WI

2007 - Relocated the original equipment to Weyauwega, WI and added three                more centrifugal casting machines and another melting furnace                            which increased casting capacities to 1,500 lbs

2009 -  Added static/sand casting equipment including a carousel molding                      system, 300#/minute and 1,000#/minute sand mixers, and a                                  mechanical sand reclamation unit.  Also added another melting furnace              that further increased capacities to 3,500 lb castings

2011 - Due to customer requirements, fabricating and machining equipment                 were added to better serve demands

2017 - Relocated entire foundry to a new location in Waupaca, WI that will

allow us to be more efficient and give us the opportunity to expand and

            grow
